Currently we are looking for a Senior Social Media Account Executive to join our Tallahassee team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate and have experience managing social media campaigns. Experience, preferably agency, and knowledge of the social media space is required, including existing platforms, as well as emerging social platforms.
As traditional paid, owned and earned media channels converge, digital (and social) media is touching and influencing every aspect of communication. Social media has evolved from a value-added communications medium to essential for the growth of business. It’s becoming embedded in the very fiber and DNA of a company. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities on behalf of clients.
Activities include:
Curate relevant content to reach the client’s ideal customers
Develop a content calendar
Create, curate and manage all published content (images, video and written)
Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and relationships
Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
Oversee design strategy of cover and profiles images, social ads, and core content
Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns
Compile monthly client reports showing results (ROI)
Become an advocate for the client in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
Map out social media marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics
Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for driving social media network growth, positive engagement, and social PR success
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media strategy and tactics
Qualifications
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
Knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing
Bachelors degree required; preferably in marketing/communication
Creativity and documented immersion in social media (Give links to profiles as examples)
Proficient knowledge in content marketing theory and application
Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, able to demonstrate why ideas will help clients achieve their goals
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
In-depth knowledge of micro-targeting with social advertising on various platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
Excellent writing and language skills
Working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem
Theoretical knowledge of landing pages, sales funnel design and marketing automation and the role social media plays
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format
A team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
Working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research, highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”
Great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
