Description
ASNT is looking for a curious, creative, and motivated Marketing and Communications Specialist to develop, organize, and execute marketing projects and content that support brand awareness, lead generation, and communication initiatives. This role facilitates the full lifecycle of marketing projects from concept development and content creation through review and final approvals. The specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all deliverables are accurate, on-brand, aligned with strategic goals, and delivered on time. Strong project coordination skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
This role offers significant visibility across the organization and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. The position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Participate in planning content calendars and partner closely with social, email, and creative team members to ensure content is engaging, informative, and on-brand
- Collaborate across departments to produce content that elevates ASNT’s products and services
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and style guidelines across all marketing deliverables
- Produce a wide range of email campaigns, data hygiene, list management, segmentation, reporting, and performance optimization
- Manage email production timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Develop social media copy and design creatives under the supervision of the Digital Marketing Manager
- Write engaging social media and email copy, alongside monitoring social channels to manage community interactions such as tags, comments, and messages.
- Schedule and publish social media posts in alignment with defined workflows and timelines
- Monitor platform performance and make adjustments as needed for optimization
- Enforce ASNT brand standards by addressing external trademark, logo, and name infringements
- Execute social listening strategies to monitor brand sentiment, track competitor activity, and identify emerging industry trends
- Proactively bring forward new ideas and creative approaches to elevate content
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, public relations, or a related field
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and compelling marketing and business communications
- Ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to gather, review, and synthesize information from multiple sources
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and subject matter experts
- Familiarity with coordinating and executing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing and social media
- Familiarity with marketing content development, such as marketing collateral or digital content
- Ability to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance
- Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva
- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms used to support email campaigns and digital communications (HubSpot experience a bonus)
- Video marketing experience is a bonus

- We welcome recent college graduates with marketing experience gained through at least two to three semesters of co-ops or internships.
