As our brand expands, we’re looking for a writing-forward intern to help articulate our message, support our founder’s voice, and strengthen our digital presence.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Communications & PR Intern who loves to write, understands brand storytelling, and wants hands-on experience crafting content for an entrepreneur-led consulting company.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and excited to learn how to build a brand through strategic communication — not visuals or video editing.

You will be assisting directly with the founder’s written content, messaging, and communication strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Draft captions for Instagram, Facebook, and Threads
• Write polished, professional posts on LinkedIn on behalf of the founder
• Create email newsletter drafts and nurture-style copy
• Assist with writing blog posts for the company website
• Turn long-form content (video transcripts, voice notes, outlines) into written posts
• Support PR tasks such as outreach templates, pitches, bios, and event summaries
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication channels
• Stay updated on trends in women-led entrepreneurship, small business finance, and thought leadership

• 5–10 hours per week
• Flexible schedule built around your availability
• Primarily remote, with optional in-person meetings at coffee shops (Tallahassee preferred)
• $1,000 stipend
• Opportunity for school credit
• Strong portfolio development including a final case study of your work

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

• Currently studying Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, English, or related fields
• Strong writing and editing skills — grammar, tone, clarity, and structure
• Ability to match an existing brand voice and write on behalf of another person
• Experience with Google Docs, Canva, and basic scheduling tools
• Interest in women in business, finance, entrepreneurship, or personal branding
• Comfortable working independently and turning ideas into polished copy

Bonus Skills (not required):

• Experience with LinkedIn content or analytics
• Interest in PR, brand messaging, or strategic communication
• Basic familiarity with SEO or blogging platforms
