To There and Back… A Hobbit’s Tale
Hear from FPRA President Gordon Paulus, APR, CPRC, on his journey from the shire through the fields of media and public relations, and to saving Middle-earth by leading the premier public relations association for the state of Florida.
Paulus, a senior communications specialist at Gulf Power Company in Pensacola, took the helm of the statewide association for public relations professionals last August. Paulus has been with Gulf Power for nearly 15 years and previously was a newspaper sportswriter. He is a two-time past president of the Pensacola Chapter of FPRA and has served on the state FPRA Executive Committee for seven of the last eight years. An Arkansas native, he is married to Karen Paulus, who is the publisher of Snowbirds Gulf Coast magazine.
