Let’s Not Get Everyone Sued, Fired, and Lampooned on the Internet Before Lunch

  • Location: Capital City Country Club
  • Address: 1601 Golf Terrace Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32301
  • RSVP Deadline: January 12, 2015

Join us on January 15 for a presentation by Alexis Lambert on internet protocol and the Sunshine Law. She has seen people make incredibly poor choices of what to say on government email accounts. She can teach you how not to do that.

Alexis Lambert runs the Office of Public Accountability for the mayor of Jacksonville. This means she oversees public records requests for 13,000 city email accounts. She got into the open government business while working as Deputy General Counsel to Attorney General Bill McCollum. She has taught mass media law at FSU, guest lectured at Syracuse, and taught freelance photographers to protect their metadata at Aphotoaday.org‘s Geekfest.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a new luncheon location! We’ll be meeting this year at the Capital City Country Club at 1601 Golf Terrace Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32301.
