Many nonprofit organizations wear multiple hats with limited resources—leaving little time, staff, or expertise to build awareness, attract donors, or communicate their impact effectively. That’s where ER for PR comes in.

Hosted each September by the FPRA Capital Chapter, ER for PR offers local nonprofits without full-time public relations support a 90-minute, one-on-one strategy session with a seasoned communications professional—completely free of charge.

Whether your nonprofit needs help with media relations, marketing, fundraising messaging, social media strategy, or community outreach, this event is designed to deliver high-impact guidance in a short amount of time.

Space is limited to 10 nonprofits, so early application submission is encouraged.

FPRA Members: Volunteer as a PR “Medic”
Want to give back using your communications expertise? Sign up to be a PR “medic” and get paired with a local nonprofit during this year’s ER for PR. You’ll provide 90 minutes of focused, strategic counsel on topics such as public awareness campaigns, special event planning, storytelling, or media outreach.

To serve as a medic, you must be a current FPRA member. Your participation is critical to the success of this event and makes a lasting impact on the nonprofits we serve.
