On Nov. 20, hear from Kevin Cate, adviser for the Charlie Crist re-election campaign, on a look back at the 2014 Governor’s race.
Kevin Cate, called a “multimedia wiz” by the Tampa Bay Times and Miami Herald, is a media consultant for some of the largest corporations, associations, and campaigns in the country, including former Florida Governor Charlie Crist.
Prior to opening his own firm in 2010, Cate was named one of Florida’s rising political stars by the News Service of Florida, having already managed press for the 2008 Obama campaign in Florida, multiple campaigns and state agencies, and Florida’s statewide elected Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink.
He is an Emmy®, Pollie®, and Silver Anvil® award winner.
Cate graduated from Auburn University and has a graduate degree in Applied American Politics and Policy from Florida State University, where he serves as an adjunct instructor teaching earned media. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida with his wife Ashley and his children Ainsley, Emery, and Edison.
