Warm & Toasty Holiday Social

Please join us to celebrate the holiday season at the Aloft Hotel! This year, we’ll be collecting donations to make the season merry and bright for residents of the Tallahassee Veterans’ Village. Admission is $5 at the door, or free with a donated item.
The Veterans’ Village is a two-year transitional housing program for men and women from all branches of service who need and want to rebuild their lives as part of the Tallahassee community. Owned and operated by Volunteers of America of Florida, the Village provides a variety of services including housing, health, training, education, counseling and employment.
The following are some suggested “gifts” for the residents of Veterans Village:
- Full size sheets
- Full size blankets/comforters
- Bed pillows
- Dishes
- Cookware
- Toiletries: soap, toothpaste & toothbrushes, deodorant
- Towels and Washcloths
- Kitchen linens
- Laundry detergent
- Household cleaning products
