2025-2026 FPRA Capital Chapter Board Slate Announcement

As the immediate past president and chair of the chapter’s Nominating Committee, I am pleased to announce that the committee has slated a complete board of officers and directors for the 2025-2026 term beginning on September 1. The slate is as follows:
- President*: Lauren Helm, APR, CPRC, Lauren Helm Public Relations
- Immediate Past President*: Valencia Scott, Leon County Property Appraiser’s Office
- President-Elect: Michael Sonntag, Liquid Creative
- Secretary: Sarah Harris, Panama City Port Authority
- Treasurer: Jamie Gillhespy, The Florida Bar
- Director of Credentialing: Emily Read, APR, Moore
- Director of Communications: Ruthann Campbell, APR, CPRC, Fiore Communications
- Director of Membership: Patti Shea, American Planning Association Florida Chapter
- Director of Student Relations: Krista Sinibaldi, Florida Association of Counties
- Director of Awards and Recognition: Steve Murray, Lieutenant Colonel USAF (Ret.), Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs
- Director of Programming: Corren Mahone, The Ounce of Prevention Fund
Thank you to the members of the nominating committee—Michelle Bono, APR, CPRC; Sandi Poreda, APR; Elizabeth Ray, Ph.D.; and Renee Thompson—for their work on assembling next year’s roster of leaders.
Since there will not be an in-person meeting during July, please watch your emails to virtually vote on the slate by Monday, July 28, at 5 p.m. EDT.
