Member Highlight: Meet Kelli Gemmer Roerk
Kelli’s Journey
What do you enjoy most about being involved as a member?
The networking and events! It’s great to come together with other PR pros in Tallahassee.
What PR or marketing project are you most proud of?
My career started with magazines, so those always hold a special place in my heart. At the League, we recently created an online magazine, qualitycities.com, to complement our print magazine and post more timely stories. We also revamped the visual design of the print magazine, including more high-quality photos and video supplements. Magazines may seem old school, but I think it’s a great way to tell stories.
What is your favorite hobby or something unique about you that FPRA members may not know?
I play horn in the Lofty Pursuits Marching Band and manage their social media. Yes – the local ice cream shop has a marching band and we play in parades and events across the Big Bend!
