The Able Trust is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of President. The President is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of The Able Trust and achieving programmatic, policy development and financial goals specified by the Board of Directors and the strategic plan. The President will report to the Executive Committee of the Board, and with Able Trust staff will assure successful results per the strategic plan and directly influence the organization’s mission of being a key leader in providing opportunities for successful employment for Floridians with disabilities.

The Able Trust is a Florida foundation based in Tallahassee that works with statewide partners to assist people with physical and/or mental disabilities to secure successful employment. The Foundation annually awards over $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations throughout Florida for employment-related programs, enabling approximately 2,000 Florida citizens with disabilities to enter the workforce each year. The ideal candidate will have significant results-driven experience working in a non-profit setting, and experience driving transparency and accountability. Fundraising experience is desired. The candidate should have a master’s degree or equivalent work experience. The position offers an excellent compensation package and the Foundation is respected in the disability community.
