The Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI) seeks a dynamic social media professional to serve as their part-time (20-30 hours/week) media-relations specialist (MRS). The MRS will engage in planning the social media strategy for WCI, which will include responsibility for updating content on the WCI360 and PMI360 sites, and related websites, management of WCI’s accounts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms which may become available, including creation of content, promotion of content, moderation of groups, interaction with and promotion of contacts, followers, connections (and others). The MRS will identify material from existing stocks of photos, videos and other content, and create graphics and memes for use on various platforms. Responsibilities will also include maintenance of various other personal social media accounts in support of the WCI official accounts.
The successful candidate will have experience running professional social media accounts and campaigns.
