Part-time Marketing Coordinator

Ability1st, the Center for Independent Living of North Florida, is currently seeking a part-time marketing professional with flexible work hours up to 20 hours per week, at $20 to $22 per hour, based on experience and skills. This position is responsible for ongoing duties that are connected to Agency annual special-events, volunteer coordination, donor recognition and all aspects of media management.
Communications: Develop and implement all agency communication materials, including media releases, newsletters and agency promotional materials.
Special Events (Fundraising): Coordinate event committee assignments, create & monitor time/task schedule, provide support to event committee/volunteers, recognize and thank sponsors/donors and coordinate event venue with all vendors, sponsors, and volunteers.
Social Media: Create and maintain ongoing social media posts, print media, and all other media/promotional information.
Promote Ability1st programs and services in a positive and professional manner. This includes disability and community awareness events, radio and TV PSAs, development of promotional videos, etc.
Training and experience related to providing marketing and communications resources to not-for-profit agencies. Direct experience coordinating fundraising special events for local charities and/or NFPs. A BS in related field is preferred.
