Description

Write, edit and distribute monthly “Fresh From Florida” industry member newsletter, quarterly newsletter, FL Market Bulletin, special alerts and other industry communication. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create content. Prepare division responses to media inquiries as needed. Create and maintain industry media representative list.

Coordinate features with the agriculture industry, ensure timelines are met and proof/edit content for the “Fresh From Florida” annual magazine. Track distribution and inventory of magazines to ensure full distribution.

Plan, process and implement events, sponsorships, and programs with ag industry organizations. Represent the division at agriculture industry meetings, tours, webinars, trade shows, events, and conferences.

Create and deliver presentations and webinars about the division’s marketing efforts to ag industry groups and stakeholders. Collaborate with all division bureaus/sections to summarize and share information on research, advertising, retail and partnerships that showcase the division’s marketing initiatives and available resources.

Collaborate with graphics team to create ads for industry advertising campaign.

Respond to industry inquiries. Utilize Salesforce to research member database as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in marketing, business, merchandising, economics, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, or communications and three (3) years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or

A master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in business administration and two (2) years of professional experience as described above.

Professional or paraprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Requires possession of a valid Driver’s License.
