Communications Coordinator

Description

The Florida Department of Education is seeking qualified candidates for Communications Coordinator. The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of internal and external communications tasks to include, but not limited to:
• Organizing internal communication events,
• Supporting external communications events,
• Responding to media inquiries,
• Writing press releases, talking points, newsletter articles and other materials for publication.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree in communications, public relations, marketing, English, journalism or related field and a minimum of two years of work experience in a professional communications or public relations environment.
