APR Interest Group Recording Now Available
As you make plans for 2024, consider investing in yourself by earning your Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential!
The FPRA Capital Chapter’s APR Study Group will meet every Wednesday from Noon – 1pm via Zoom, beginning January 10, 2024, and concluding on April 10, 2024 (with the exception of March 13th due to Leon County Schools Spring Break). The APR credential certifies your drive, professionalism and principles, setting you apart from your peers and positioning you as a leader and mentor in the public relations field. All FPRA members in good standing are eligible for the APR; however, it is strongly recommended that candidates have at least five years of full-time public relations experience.
IMPORTANT
Please note that starting January 1, 2024, Prometric will no longer administer the computerized exam for the APR certification. Instead, Certification Management Services (CMS) will be used. This was a decision made by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB) to better serve testing candidates. CMS launched an online test administration service four years ago and the system is called TESTWise. Exams will be delivered remotely via secure link, with no testing centers, and will be proctored by Examity. Stay tuned for more details on this change.
