 Under 3-minute video

– Deadline is Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 5 p.m. ET

– Your video must contain your name, major/area of study, and a response to these two questions:

  1. Many college students, including those studying PR, leave Tallahassee after graduation. What do you believe the FPRA Capital Chapter could do to entice recent graduates to make Tallahassee more appealing as young professionals?
  2. Why should you be selected to receive the student scholarship for the FPRA Annual Conference?

Your submission is private and will only be reviewed only by the judges to select a winner. By submitting your entry, you are confirming that you are available to attend the full conference from August 6 through August 9 and agree to go if you are selected as the winner.

Testimonial from previous winner, Antonia:

My experience at FPRA annual conference was amazing. Drew and Mandy went out of their way to connect me with so many people, and everyone was welcoming. Everyone was also great about giving out advice for students, as well as offering to talk about their experiences.

I loved all of the guest speakers and breakout rooms. I really gained a better understanding of what Public Relations really is, as well as the culture and the people who go into it.

Leading up to receiving the scholarship, I had just graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in PR and advertising. I was working at a coffee shop and waiting to start my graduate program at Florida State University. While I was very busy, at the last minute I decided to call off of work and prioritize something I knew would help my future career.

And I was so surprised and excited that I won! It really validated my decision and helped me know I am going in the right direction. I was an admitted student at FSU, I had never even heard of FPRA before I applied for the scholarship, but I was given a huge chance and I am forever grateful. I can’t wait to see where my membership takes me.
