Nominate for the Communicator of the Year Award!

The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Capital Chapter Communicator of the Year award is given to an individual in the Tallahassee area who uses his or her position to enhance community awareness, understanding and support for causes and issues through outstanding use of communications and public relations skills. The selection of a winner for this prestigious award will be made after the review and recommendation of the Award Selection Committee and approval of the Capital Chapter Board of Directors.

FPRA membership is not required for the Communicator of the Year award, but the nominee should have high visibility and respect as a volunteer or leader in the community. Nominees may be contacted for more information about their experience and contributions. You may not nominate yourself.

Criteria for Nomination

  • Candidates should make, or have made, outstanding and long-lasting contributions to enhance community awareness, understanding and support for causes and issues in the Big Bend area through their use of communications and public relations skills.
  • Candidates should be active in the local community and able to demonstrate their efforts to benefit the Big Bend area through involvement in volunteer and professional activities.
  • Candidates should be highly visible and well respected in the community for his or her tireless devotion to improving the quality of life in the Big Bend.
