ER for PR is the Capital Chapter’s annual community service event that provides free, one-on-one public relations counseling to local nonprofit organizations. Volunteer PR “medics” donate their expertise to help nonprofits strengthen their communications, media relations, and community outreach.
A 30-minute group presentation covering PR fundamentals, media relations, and communications planning.
A 90-minute private session with a PR “medic” who diagnoses your organization’s communications challenges.
Every participant takes home a resource kit with press release templates, local media contacts, and more.
ER for PR is open to Tallahassee and Big Bend area nonprofit organizations that do not have a dedicated PR or communications staff member. Applications open annually, typically in August.
