Description

The Florida Bar (TFB), with more than 110,000 members, is the statewide professional and regulatory organization for lawyers. TFB is seeking an experienced communications coordinator for it’s Communications department located in Tallahassee, FL.

The Senior Communication Coordinator is responsible for fostering productive relationships and communications between TFB and the general public, the media and Bar members. Works in planning and implementation of programs, uses creativity in message composition and in designing promotional and informational communications, works collaboratively with Bar committees and bar leadership, communicates regularly with members of the media. Coordinates with others outside of the department and has extensive liaison duties at all levels with TFB and with the public, media and Bar members.

TFB offers an excellent benefit package, starting salary $55,452.39.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, journalism or related field and five (5) years of experience in journalism, communications, media relations, marketing or public relations/public information is required.
