Florida Sterling is seeking a highly-motivated, energetic and well-spoken social media intern. Established in 1992, the Florida Sterling Council is a public/private not-for-profit corporation supported by the Executive Office of the Governor . It is comprised of public and private sector members. The Council is led by the Executive Committee which oversees the Governor’s Sterling Award for Performance Excellence and all Sterling process activities, including the annual Sterling conference.
The main duties include social media planning and execution on all social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn), work on the Florida Sterling blog, and continue the process of developing a conference app. Applicants must possess a solid understanding of social media and attention to detail. The position requires the intern to be in the Florida Sterling office 10-12 hours per week.
