The Florida Bar is looking for a talented storyteller and content creator to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator! Do you have strong writing skills? Follow social media trends? Love to engage and connect through popular social media platforms? Then TFB wants to talk to you about managing our social media channels reaching hundreds of thousands of Florida lawyers, judges, and the members of the legal community every day. Working under the direction of our Communications Director and collaborating with Communications team members and Bar staff, the Bar’s social media coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing and posting content that drives engagement, reaches audiences, and educates members and the public on top Florida Bar priorities and legal issues. Our Social Media Coordinator should be able to provide strategic feedback on how to better reach our audiences as well as advise on current and future social media trends. This is a position for someone who uses creativity in message composition for informational, educational, and promotional content, while also able to report metrics regularly and provide advertising strategy.
Minimum starting salary $55,452; TFB offers an excellent benefits package.
Required minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field (proof of degree required at interview).
Required minimum professional work experience: Three (3) years relevant work experience with a minimum one (1) year professional experience managing social media strategies. Public relations agency experience encouraged.
