GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Senior Manager of Outreach Marketing’s primary function is to create and lead stand-out consumer marketing plans, strategies and tactics across multiple media platforms that inspire Central Florida youth and adults to elevate their income, train for new career fields, and overcome employment barriers through CareerSource Central Florida’s programs and services – available at no cost through state and federal funding.
Create broadscale awareness with consumer and business audiences through managing innovative, omni-channel marketing (including multi-media paid advertising, digital marketing and brand partnerships throughout the community); evolving the organization’s digital content strategy and footprint (social media channels, website, videos); and producing written, video and visual collateral for career centers, events and workshops.
This senior-level manager will ensure all marketing collateral and activities are aligned with corporate vision, brand identity and quality guidelines. The position oversees the planning, day-to-day activities, and KPIs and budgets of the marketing team, channels and agencies, and also owns and executes their own projects and initiatives.
The position will be responsible for leveraging email, social media, Pay per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) marketing tools to develop and nurture, drip and click-funnel content strategies that maximize conversion rates and engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead and develop staff, including two direct reports, and agency relationships.
Oversees the successful development and execution of marketing plans to achieve corporate goals and objectives, encompassing written, video, visual and digital mediums. Oversees messaging on all outreach tools to ensure consistency and brand tone of voice. Creates innovative and effective communications tools and resources.
Directs all social media and online channels including content creation, editorial planning and implementation. Identifies and develops relationships and sponsorship opportunities with influencers / bloggers in support of CSCF’s mission.
Develops and executes paid advertising programs across digital and print mediums.
Analyzes KPI’s for CSCF’s marketing campaigns. Performs SEM/PPC optimization in Google analytics towards new clients and subscribers with a deep understanding of personas, demographics and segmentation. Increases conversion rates in all digital assets to drive usage increase to new clients and improve retention and repeat business growth to existing clients. Ensures marketing analytics are integrated into third-party platforms to monitor and track results on initiatives or projects.
Collaborates with marketing and/or website development agencies in Web development/UX and data analysis. Collaborates with IT Department on projects when necessary. Develops content and oversees enhancements to consumer websites. Aligns landing pages and other strategies to drive traffic and conversion rates for website. Provides SEO, keyword research, copy optimization, on-page and off-page search engine optimization, social media optimization and linking strategies to drive traffic and increase website visibility and lead generation in all relevant search engines.
Creates, localizes, and manages marketing and social media content / collateral such as web content, consumer newsletters, case studies, white papers, social media content, video/podcast, etc. Audits websites, social media and rewrites content to be compliant, meaningful and current and ensure maximum search engine visibility and traffic conversion.
Manages all email testing and optimization initiatives. Manages Constant Contact and other platforms and consistently tracks and maintains KPIs.

Supervision Received – Work is performed under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from an *accredited institution in communications, marketing, business or related field, supplemented by ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in managing complex marketing campaigns, lead generation, content marketing and paid advertising strategies, promotions or equivalent combination of training and experience. Strong digital marketing experience and proven results improving KPIs required.
Associates Degree or equivalent coursework from an accredited institution in a related field combined with at least fifteen (15) years related experience.
Must be able to provide verification of the legal right to operate a vehicle in the State of Florida (Driver’s License, documentation of personal auto insurance, etc.). Must fulfill all requirements of the CareerSource Central Florida Vehicle Safety Program and have reliable transportation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree in related area from an accredited institution; experience in workforce and/or economic development.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Position requires the experience, sensitivity, and confidence to represent CareerSource Central Florida, as well as creative talent and practical skill
Knowledge of: principles and practices of marketing, advertising, web and social media practices. High level of English grammar and usage; working knowledge of AP style guide; and standard computer applications.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and highly organized
Establishes high standards of excellence, honesty, integrity and professionalism.
Ability to use tact, persuasion, influence, discretion, political acumen, and independent judgment.
Strong web research skills, a familiarity with major media outlets, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other related software.
