Description

The Taproot Agency is hiring a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our team. The perfect candidate will have demonstrated the ability to build bridges between the client and the agency while maintaining timelines and open communication with the project team. Not only are we looking for a candidate with client service in their DNA, Taproot seeks an agency cheerleader and continual learner with at least five years of agency experience.

The Senior Account Manager role at The Taproot Agency will be responsible for:

Supervising and managing all aspects of multiple client projects including timelines, ongoing client communications and project deliverables

Guiding internal teams (research, creative, web, public relations) throughout the client project

Running meetings between the project team and the client while presenting Taproot’s ideas in an engaging, conversational manner

Assisting in the development of strategies, plans and campaigns to meet client objectives

Tracking and monitoring project timelines and financials (budget versus actual)

Supporting new business development by building and maintaining professional networks, assisting with writing proposals and pitching prospective clients

Mentoring other project managers to ensure a high-quality Taproot experience

Bringing out the best in the people you work alongside

Qualifications

Five or more years of relevant experience in account management, client services or client engagement in an agency environment (advertising, public relations or marketing)

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, advertising or related field
Outstanding written and verbal skills

Be able to manage teams within a set project scope, timeline and budget
Ability to work with diverse personalities to develop client strategies and assignments

Ability to respectfully question and challenge teammates about ideas and prospective client approaches

Strong passion for design and the creative process

Willing to offer and receive constructive criticism, for the betterment of the agency and its clients

Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and self-starting
