Description
The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy is seeking a Tallahassee-based Public Relations Specialist. The public relations specialist will be responsible for communications tasks including but not limited to:
-Management of daily public relations activities related to locations where the Foundation has a major presence
-Writing press releases, event invitations, talking points, blogs and other written materials promoting the Foundation and its programs
-Development and coordination of external events with key partners
-Development and management of key media relationships around the country
-Management of editorial and internal calendars
-Support for marketing efforts
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field and a minimum of three to five years of work experience in a public relations environment.
