Public Relations / Media Training / General Communications Intern

Description

180 Communications is in need of interns who can assist with public relations, media training and general communications efforts for clients and company publications. Job responsibilities may include pitching stories to local and national news markets, securing interviews for Forbes blog posts, creative writing assignments, helping manage social media and more. Intern hours can vary, but ideal applicants can commit at least 10 hours/week.

Qualifications

Ideal applicants will have a working knowledge or experience in public relations, communications and/or creative writing. Preference will be given to students seeking a degree in one of these fields. Interns should have strong writing and verbal communications skills, a friendly demeanor, be motivated to work and able to meet deadlines.
