Primary Responsibilities
HDR is seeking a passionate and creative Production Designer for either our Tallahassee or Tampa, FL office to assist in creating print and digital graphics. This role ensures brand standards are being utilized, print materials are production ready, digital assets for web are properly designed and packaged for our programming team and that updates and content changes are made accurately and in a timely manner. Ultimately, you will ensure our print and digital designs meet high quality standards.
Miscellaneous duties will include:
- Production preparation for both digital and print
- Layout and design of presentations, mostly in Microsoft PPT
- Formatting and design layout in Adobe and Microsoft programs
- Process revisions and edits of reports, brochures, and a wide range of other communication pieces
- ADA preparation
- Print proofing
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts or related field of study or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years professional relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and Acrobat DC and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word
Ability to design a wide variety of styles
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating effectively with colleagues in both content and technical development.
Ability to articulate complex ideas through simple, beautiful, clear and engaging visuals to our creative teams and project leaders
Highly organized person who understands the importance and value of file management.
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
Highly responsive to all forms of communication within a team environment.
Extremely strong attention to detail.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a very fast-paced environment
Should have a strong portfolio website
