The Florida Senate Democrats seek a motivated communications intern with experience in media relations and pitching or eagerness to learn. Gain real-world communications experience and messaging training while helping promote the good work of the Florida Senate Democrats with local, state, and national media. Interns benefit from working closely with Democratic staff and consultants on press releases, media statements, pitches, and media relations. A job well-done can lead to a multi-semester or multi-year paid internship experience, invaluable political connections, and letters of recommendation to leverage into post-grad job opportunities.
