Salter>Mitchell is hosting an open house for college upperclassmen, graduate students and post-grads seeking a paid, four-month public relations internship.

Event details are as follows:

Date: Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015
Time: 5:45 – 7 p.m.
Location: Salter>Mitchell – 117 South Gadsden Street (free parking in the back lot)
Attire: Business casual

The open house is treated like a group interview. It gives students a chance to learn more about our company and share work they’ve done in the past. When the event is over, we’ll review all resumes and writing samples to decide who we’d like to take our writing test and move forward in the application process.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates that are interested in public relations and digital media, and have completed at least one previous internship. Candidates that are seeking or have completed degrees in journalism, public relations, marketing and/or English are preferred.

We will gladly accept all resumes, but have limited capacity in our office. If we receive many applications, we may have to invite those who we feel would benefit most from our program at this time.

All interested applicants should email Erin Williams at erin.williams@saltermitchell.com a current resume and two writing samples that showcase any public relations or journalistic writing now through October 9. The writing samples can be from a class project or internship, but please do not send any research/term papers.
