SalterMitchell PR is looking for college juniors, seniors and graduate students to join our team. We’ve created an environment to help you grow professionally and become Fluent in Floridian. Our internships are very hands-on and you will be paired with an experienced member of our staff to work on a variety of client projects across the state. We’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies like Verizon and Bank of America, non-profits like No Kid Hungry and the International Rhino Foundation, and associations like the Florida Independent Benefits Council and Florida Bankers Association. We’re looking for individuals who are self-starters, detailed-oriented, results-driven, creative, and fun. If you are not a problem-solver and are looking for someone to teach you everything step-by-step, then our agency is not for you.

This is a paid position and we encourage students to also use this internship for academic credit.

Hours: Minimum of 
20 hours a week

Length of Internship: 12-16 weeks (depending on start date)

 January 13, 2020 – May 8, 2020

Qualifications

As a PR and Digital Media Assistant, you will help implement campaigns using paid, earned, shared and owned methods including public relations, media relations, digital and social media, graphic design, video production, research, content creation, SEO, SEM, analytics and data optimization and event management. You will also help produce our Fluent in Floridian podcast, which features the Sunshine State’s brightest leaders talking about the issues most important to the people of Florida and its more than 100 million yearly visitors.

What you need to possess: Creativity, superior writing skills, and at least one previous internship
