Starting Salary: $41,000-$45,000 (based on experience)

Location: Tallahassee, FL
Expectations: Full time, hybrid schedule

JOB SUMMARY
The Florida Justice Association (FJA) is looking to hire a passionate individual who will be an essential team member assisting the Member Operations Manager in day-to-day functions of the Member Operations Support Team (MOST). As our Member Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in administering and supporting a growing association community, ensuring exceptional member satisfaction, and supporting the overall goals of the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with professionals in the industry, build strong relationships, and contribute to the success of the FJA. Professional training will be provided and encouraged.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Respond to membership inquiries promptly, providing accurate and detailed information to prospective and current members.
•Assist members with membership needs including list servers, suspensions, terminations, reinstatements, and new memberships.
•Facilitate member growth by working with Marketing Department, Membership Committee, etc to process new member request approvals from the Membership Committee.
•Manage the membership database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date member records.
•Assist with the dissemination of membership-related materials, such as brochures, welcome kits, and marketing collateral.
•Assist with membership billing and payment processing, working closely with the finance department.
•Assist with miscellaneous invoicing as required.
•Generate reports as requested for different departments and affiliates.
•Generate and monitor reports on membership metrics.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Associate’s Degree or higher; and, at least 1 year of experience in a customer support or administrative role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Aptitude for using membership management software and CRM systems.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good knowledge of customer support techniques and databases.
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED:
•Previous experience in membership management, customer service, or related roles within a professional association, nonprofit organization, or trade organization is preferred.
