The Center for Global Engagement is seeking an energetic and creative individual who is looking for an internship (unpaid: credit or non-credit) to promote and market CGE programs to the university community through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat). Responsibilities may also include photographing events, organizing digital archives, and other marketing tasks as needed.


• Interest in intercultural programming (knowledge of CGE programming preferred)
• Knowledge and interest in international affairs, world cultures, religions and languages around the world
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Knowledgeable of marketing strategies and trends
• Proficient-to-advanced user of social media, primarily (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Resourceful and creative
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Ability to work well under deadlines
• Must be able to commit to 10 hours/week
