Description
The Florida Justice Association is growing, which has created an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Marketing & Membership Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment, and who thrive on exceeding member expectations. The role requires 15–20 hours per week with some scheduling flexibility. There is also potential for this role to expand into a full-time opportunity based on performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Support
- Assist with drafting, proofreading, and scheduling content for email campaigns, newsletters, and social media content.
- Support production of marketing materials (graphics, flyers, brochures, event promotions, sponsor recognition).
- Help maintain brand consistency across all communications.
- Track and report metrics on marketing campaign performance and engagement.
Membership Support
- Assist with membership recruitment and retention campaigns, including member list management, outreach, and follow-up.
- Prepare call sheets, reports, and materials for phonebanks and special initiatives.
- Support member data entry, updates, and database maintenance.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with email marketing or CRM/database systems, a plus.
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter).
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for content ideation and first-draft generation is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in nonprofit, advocacy, or membership association work preferred.
