Marketing Coordinator – Part-time OR Full-time
Aging with dignity (AWD) is a national nonprofit organization based in Tallahassee, Florida. Its mission is to honor and safeguard the human dignity of people as they age and face the challenges of serious illness. Toward that end, AWD operates a comprehensive program called Five Wishes, which helps people plan for, discuss, and document how they would like to be treated in case of serious illness. The Five Wishes program has served over 30 million individuals, families, healthcare organizations, financial institutions, faith-based organizations and many more. The program is growing rapidly and expanding its offerings and audiences.
The Marketing Coordinator will do the following:
• Collaborate with advocacy and sales teams to develop written and graphic content for website, blogs, social media and collateral print materials
• Collaborate on design, and then execute email marketing campaigns, including building follow-up marketing workflows
• Collaborate on design, and then execute, manage, and report on targeted social media and other digital advertising campaigns
• Support organizational goals related to sales and member services
• Bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team, using expertise in design, motion graphics and photography
• Execute and produce concepts from start to finish, ranging from simple imagery to more complex animations
• Manage other design needs such as presentations, signage and collateral as needed


Education & Experience Required
• 2 to 4 years design and content creation experience
• A web-based portfolio showcasing content design work (including social media) with an affinity to business-to-business branding
• Complete knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite design programs (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Complete understanding of Google AdWords and Google Analytics
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft CRM
• Full grasp of design requirements for social media and other web content
• Understand the design process and best practices, drawing from a broad experience of web and print projects
• A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative nature
• The ability to execute ideas and concepts in a variety of creative ways, while maintaining visual appearance, usability and brand continuity
