The role of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to be responsible for Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic’s communications and marketing initiatives. The Coordinator is responsible for professional communication with internal and external audiences including staff, patients, prospective patients and partner organizations. The Coordinator assists with various project work, as well as, administrative duties.

Serve as brand ambassador to ensure the TOC messaging and visual brand identity are consistent throughout all materials. Prepare communication materials for TOC staff, patients and external audiences. Lead the production of various marketing projects through coordination with internal clients and external vendors. Proofread, write and edit varied communications: e.g., scripts, signage, brochures, business letters, etc. Interface with the media to schedule and coordinate interviews. Clip and track media presence for TOC and it’s competitors. Enhance TOC’s digital presence through development of social media and website content. Support community relations initiatives including speaking engagements and sponsorships. Oversee distribution and analysis of internal and external customer service surveys. Track various internal access, customer service and education benchmarks. Measure success of external marketing strategies and tactics. Assist in the coordination of various events, parties and meetings. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate.

Qualifications

Superb writing, editing and communication skills. Knowledge of various social media channels and the ability to use them strategically to reach key audiences. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, while achieving a high degree of accuracy. Detail-oriented and capable or professional communication with key internal and external contacts. High competency level on computer and software skills compatible with job responsibilities. InDesign experience a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in communications field with emphasis on public relations, journalism, marketing or related field. Two years experience in communications, marketing or public relations.
