The Marketing Campaign Manager position, which reports to the DEP Director of Marketing, is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for Florida State Parks, Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection, and all other water-related topics (springs protection, water quality, etc).

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field of study and two years of experience in marketing, public relations, broadcasting, journalism, mass communications and/or other related fields.
•Knowledge of marketing and advertising campaigns for government, environmental issues and/or destination marketing.
•Knowledge of current marketing principles and trends
•Interpersonal collaboration and communication skills
•Good oral and written communication skills
•Creativity
•Interpersonal communication
•Project management skills
•Strategic planning skills
•Experience with procurement and vendor relations
•Content development experience for print publications, web, social media and earned media.
•Ability to work well and coordinate with others including executives, program administrators and both internal and external stakeholders.
•Ability to conduct a needs assessment and analysis.
•Ability to multitask
•Ability to function as a liaison between program area, press office and Director of Marketing.
