Position Duties & Responsibilities:
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) is the state agency charged with providing highway safety and security through excellence in service, education and enforcement. DHSMV’s Office of Communications is seeking applicants for a Graphics and Brand Manager to produce graphics and creative services for the department. This position will create creative content and collateral and oversee the department’s brand management for statewide initiatives, including integrated marketing safety and education campaigns. This position has the opportunity to recommend new creative ideas for the department to positively impact Floridians in pursuit of A Safer Florida.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Knowledge of graphic design principles.
•Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
•Ability to use graphic design software.
•Ability to provide time estimates for the implementation of features/functionality.
•Excellent written communication skills and expectation management.
•Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and deadlines.
•Ability to work in an open, collaborative environment.
•Knowledge of responsive design.
•Skill in marketing based video and photography.
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience using Adobe Creative Suite as well as creating collateral for strategic marketing campaigns. Preference will also be given to applicants with experience in creative services and/or graphic design.
We will also give additional preference to applicants with experience in marketing based video and photography.
The selected applicant must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) criminal history background check.
