SalterMitchell PR is seeking a thoughtful and out-of-the-box Graphic Designer with 2-3 years experience to work alongside the agency’s public relations and marketing teams to help good causes win. We are based in Florida and work diligently to communicate to the state’s diverse population with dynamic visuals, materials, and brand elements for client campaigns.
Our focus as an agency is to work on meaningful projects. We’re as selective as our clients are about who we want to work with. These clients range from Fortune 500 companies to public institutions to not-for-profit organizations. They rely on us to provide innovative ideas, strategic insight, and guidance to help them make a positive impact in the nation’s third most populous state.
Top candidates will have a minimum of two years professional experience and the ability to assist in creating a full scope of brand and creative services including the designing of collateral and promotional materials. This includes brochures, digital and print ads, e-newsletters, some user interface and user experience, and social media content. The chosen candidate will be capable of presenting in client meetings and new business pitches.
We’re looking for individuals who are self-starters, detailed-oriented, results-driven, creative, and fun.
-Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
-Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
-Work as part of a team with copywriters, content strategists, and executives
-Make the design “brief” come alive and exceed clients expectations
-Amend final designs to team and clients comments, and gain full approval
-Design and create various collateral materials
-Designing and develop static websites
-Manage electronic files and conversions
-Stay up to date on creative and design trends, software, hardware and tools
-Help establish creative project budgets and schedule implementation
-Proven graphic designing experience
-Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
-Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
-Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
-Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, possibly WordPress, etc)
-Highly proficient in all design aspects
-Professionalism regarding time, budgets and deadlines
