Description
The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for supporting the Office of Communications in the process of designing both print and digital materials for internal and external company branding. From developing creative, graphic solutions including print, digital, social media, and ongoing projects. The design intern will gain valuable insight into a high-performance communication environment.
Specific job duties may include:
•Support and work with Communication team on internal and external design projects.
•Assist with concept, design and execution on various digital, web and print design projects including such materials as newsletter, website, marketing collateral, digital assets for advertising, social media and more.
•Photography which includes photo editing, cropping and retouching
Qualifications
•Working knowledge (at least 2 to 3 semesters) of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
•Ensure all designs are aligned with brand standards, maintaining visual style guide, and an organization-wide commitment to brand consistency.
•Working experiences in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
•Understands web vs. print design and different file formats
•Detail-oriented and organized
•Quick learner, self-starter, takes initiative, can work independently
•Available at least 20 hours per week
