Graphic Artist

Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to conceptualize, design and manage enrollment-related materials through development to delivery within deadlines. Candidate must possess knowledge of Current graphic art standards, maintain internal/external branding guideline, create and manage production timeline, and provided detailed communication to all stakeholders.

Duties:

• Design and update materials based on internal and external requirements.
• Track and monitor all stages of material reviews, implement, and communicate changes, corrections and revisions until approved.
• Communicate clearly with all parties including team members, leadership, Account Management and client to keep them informed of project status.
• Maintain case notes throughout the design and review process.
• Develops new designs as needed for various
• Creates and updates web content and design elements for various sites using WordPress.
• Works with Marketing Department to create sales and marketing pieces as needed.
• Manage distribution & stationary request.
• Participates and provide feedback in weekly Department and client meetings.

Work Hours: Flex hours between 8:00 am 6:00 pm. 40 hours per week – Travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

College or university program certificate with a major course of study in Graphic Design or related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training in Graphic Design may be substituted; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Adobe design software such as InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of Excel, database functionality, and web content management systems such as WordPress. Video and audio editing preferred
