This is a professional position that reports directly to the Communications and Outreach Manager. This position is responsible for assisting in the development, management and administration of the Division’s financial and insurance education and marketing programs primarily through video creation in conjunction with the Department’s Communication Office.


A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in fine/visual/digital art, graphic design/art, computer animation, visual effects or a related field is required.
Additional requirements:
•Three (3) or more years of 2D animation, illustration, video development and creation professional work experience.
•Three (3) or more years of professional experience with Adobe Creative Cloud graphic design or animation programs, including Animate, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; Flash; or related video creation programs.
•Three (3) or more years of experience developing professional videos intended for public awareness or informational purposes.
Preference will be given for applicants who have/are:
•Bi-lingual (English, Spanish and/or Haitian Creole)
•Professional experience speaking, writing and translating in English, Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.
•Two (2) or more years of professional public speaking experience and have the ability to present information at outreach and public/community events.
•Two (2) or more years of experience writing professional communications materials such as press releases, op-eds, media advisories and other outreach or educational materials.
Some travel required. Must have valid driver’s license.
Video samples will be requested during the interview.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
