Event Planning Manager
Description
Statewide health care association is seeking an Event Planning Manager. This position manages multiple events/meetings throughout the year, including regional seminars, trainings and workshops, statewide educational programs, legislative meetings and events, committee meetings and webinars and assists with the statewide Annual Conference.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must: be able to able to work on multiple events simultaneously; be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; have strong verbal/communication skills; pay close attention to details; be able to follow directions and work with little supervision; have a high energy level and contribute to a positive team spirit.
This position has moderate travel. A minimum of 18+ months of event planning experience and a bachelors degree or (4) years of college or certificate technical program is required or a combination of education and experience. Previous work experience with an association is preferred.
