Are you a visual storyteller who lives for the perfect shot and thrives on crafting engaging content? The Florida League of Cities is seeking a creative and experienced Digital Production Coordinator to film, produce and edit high-quality video content. If you love capturing compelling visuals, possess a keen eye for detail, and excel in production and editing, this role is for you! You’ll work closely with our team to create videos for a range of projects and platforms, from promotional content to interviews and events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, shoot and edit video content for a variety of platforms, including websites, social media, presentations and live events
- Coordinate all aspects of video production
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for videos
- Record footage for staged and unscripted scenes including event broll and interviews
- Edit footage to produce engaging, high-quality videos with clear messaging and visual appeal including adding effects such as graphics, transitions and on-screen text
- Ensure lighting positions, sound enhancement and proper recording equipment are in place to capture the best images in a variety of locations
- Recommend equipment purchases, upgrades or replacements as needed
- Travel to conferences and other offices as needed to record footage
- Ensure all video content is consistent with the brand’s voice and visual guidelines
- Provide additional communications support to the League as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Salary Range:
$55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High proficiency in post-production editing suites, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro
- Superior organization and time management skills, close attention to detail and strong cross-departmental communication skills
- Ability to travel often to cover conferences and events
- Thorough understanding of and ability to use video production equipment
- Strong video portfolio and ability to tell a compelling story
- Thorough understanding of artistic styles, video techniques, methodologies and effects
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of podcast production is a plus
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in communication, video production or related field; or combination of training and experience. 1-2 years’ experience in video editing. Proficient in the use of MS office products including PowerPoint and Excel.
