Responsibilities
Develop social media strategies and measurements for the promotion of Florida State University College of Social Work branding, programs, institutes/centers, student/alumni engagement and outreach.
Manage and monitor College social media calendar and channels.
Coordinate digital content creation for College social media channels including editing and curating College email communications, graphics, print and promotional materials, TV display monitors and web pages.
Coordinate College photography and video needs including but not limited to events, headshots, marketing and graphic needs.
Work with events and marketing team on event execution and marketing strategies.

Anticipated Salary Range
Low $40,000’s; commensurate with education and experience.

Pay Plan
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

Schedule
8 am – 5 pm, M-F with the possibility of working nights or weekends for special events.

Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience (Note: or a post high school education and experience equal to six years)
Knowledge of social media strategy and execution, measurement and content creation.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Ability to meet project deadlines.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge of applicable computer and design software and basic computer competency.

Preferred
Experience in communications and social media management.
Training and competency in graphic design and software (Canva, Adobe Suite), basic videography knowledge (editing and video processing), search engine optimization.
Detail oriented knowledge of text editing and writing skills.
Knowledge of current technology and trends, including social media outcome measurement and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree
