Description
The Creative Content Manager oversees the Creative Content Section of the Office of Marketing and Creative Development (within DEP’s Office of Communications) and serves as an expert, working collaboratively with campaign managers and stakeholders to ensure that all graphics, publications (pre-existing and to-be) and webpages best accomplish designated goals, making recommendations for alternative deliverables where appropriate. The Creative Content Manager will also assign tasks and manage a team of web and graphic designers. Topic areas for environmental protection can include: Florida State Parks, Aquatic Preserves, Water Quality, Springs, Coral Reef Protection, State Lands, Geology, Air Quality, Recycling and Waste Reduction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fine Arts in the field of Graphic Design or related design experience on a year-for-year basis for the preferred college education.
More than three years of experience in graphic design.
Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud Products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc)
Proficient with both Mac/Apple and Windows operating systems.
Experience managing, supervising or leading individuals.
Experience with multimedia graphic design.
Experience managing or interfacing with web content and design activities.
Experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.
Experience managing brand continuity and implementation.
