Communications Intern for Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater's Press Office

Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater’s Office of Communications is currently accepting applications for Spring ’15 interns. Preferred are dynamic and motivated people who are interested in pursuing a career in communications, public relations or a related field.

As team members, interns will be involved with the creation of a broad array of media and marketing materials, have oversight over a project from idea formation through implementation phases, interact with agency staff and statewide members of the media, and gain extensive editing and writing experience on a variety of internal and external projects.

Sample Project: The selected candidate(s) shall update statewide media lists, gaining experience and extensive knowledge of Florida’s major media markets across varying platforms to include radio, print and television.

The internship requires a minimum of a one semester commitment of at least 20 hours per week.Scheduling details will be determined on an individual basis.
