Coordinates and assists with the development, implementation, and execution of the strategic recruitment and communication plan for prospective, admitted and matriculating students for all degree and non-degree programs with the College of Law. Works closely with the Communications Office to establish a cohesive and effective social media plan to support the recruitment of students to the law school. Plans, coordinates and implements all on-campus recruitment activities. Advises prospective students, applicants, admitted students, and matriculating students regarding the College of Law.

Develops programming for, reviews and renders decisions on applications to, and manages all facets of the Honors Legal Scholars Program with FSU undergraduate students through the Honors Program and the Student Ambassador Program at the College of Law.

Develops targeted content and disseminates recruitment messaging utilizing the CRM systems available. Travels representing the College of Law for recruiting purposes as needed. Supervises the Senior Admissions Officer & Recruitment Specialist and the Receptionist & Admissions Assistant positions within the Office of Admissions.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $49,000 – $55,000 per year

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience related to academic and/or student services, experience with strategic marketing and communication inclusive of social media, event planning, or a combination of post high school education and related experience equal to eight years, is required. Applicants must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent software, and Adobe Acrobat or similar software. Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment is essential.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally in writing; to work independently and prioritize work so that deadlines are met; and to maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, interdepartmental personnel and external constituents.

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, targeted social media experience and event planning experience preferred.
