Meg Treat, APR, is a public relations consultant based in Orange County, California. Before starting her own business, Meg worked in multiple major media markets and a myriad of industries both in-house with corporations and as a member of communications agencies. Meg is currently the Membership Chair for the Orange County chapter of PRSA and an Alumni Consultant for Boiler Communications, Purdue University’s student-run firm. She is Accredited in Public Relations. She earned her Bachelor’s in Public Relations, her Master’s in Communications, and a Strategic Communications Management certificate from her one and only alma mater, Purdue University.

Erica Villanueva, APR, is an accredited communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in public relations, integrated marketing and brand management. Erica is the Corporate Communications Manager for Rack Room Shoes, leading internal and external communications and sets the brand voice. Previously, Erica was a Senior Account Manager at Sachs Media for more than seven years, managing accounts from Pfizer to Florida KidCare. She then took on national clients at the Zimmerman Agency as the Account Lead for Firehouse Subs and SpringHill Suites by Marriott. Erica has a BA in Journalism from the University of Central Florida and an MA in Spanish Language and Culture from New York University. She lives in Charlotte, NC, with her husband and two adorable sons.

Marah Binder Oberfield is a highly-skilled professional with 25 years of experience developing internal communications, change management and employee engagement solutions for national and global companies. After graduating from Florida State University with a BA in Marketing, she joined Sachs Media as a senior account manager. She led PR efforts at The Florida Children’s Forum. Prior to founding Oberfield Communications, Marah served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Syneos Health, a global end-to-end healthcare organization with more than 25,000 employees in 90 countries. In this role, she built out a corporate communications function, established departmental and executive leadership communications protocols, led crisis management teams and spearheaded merger & acquisition employee transition plans. Marah also led US internal and external communications for Daiichi Sankyo, a leading Japanese pharmaceutical company. There, she developed initiatives to improve employee engagement, brand recognition and corporate reputation, including cultivating media relations strategies and philanthropy programs. She has crafted internal communications, public relations, and corporate social responsibility programming that elevate brands and unify employees throughout her career.
