Our Stranger Holiday Party

PR pros might feel trapped in the terrifying Upside Down every now and then, but we took it a step further at FPRA’s Stranger Things holiday party.  Scary ’80s-themed sci-fi might not be the first theme that comes to mind when you think “holiday party.” But Christmas lights, adorable kids, humor, romance, family values, and delicious food… What’s more holiday than that? And people of all generations enjoy the show, so it resonates with our diverse membership.

We hosted the holiday party the evening of December 7 at the Governors Club in downtown Tallahassee. Members enjoyed cocktails and light bites – including waffles, of course – set to the backdrop of a spooky forest featuring ’80s MTV videos and a soundtrack that would get Nance to dance.

Throughout the evening, attendees answered Stranger Things trivia questions on a puzzle that magically revealed the chapter’s 2018 Image Awards: Masquerade Ball!

Thanks to the generous sponsorship by Harvest Print & Marketing Solutions, everyone took home a Stranger Things Holiday Party coffeemug, designed by new member Katie Reeves with ktcreative, to help us remember that mornings are for coffee and contemplation. You’re gonna be so cool now, it’s ridiculous.

(If you missed the party but want a mug, we have a few left! Email goodnews@fpra-capital.com.)

Thank you to everyone who helped and attended! For more photos of the event, check out our Facebook page.

Happy holidays, and see you in 2018!
