Capital Chapter to Host President’s Reception at FPRA’s 77th Annual Conference in Orlando
The FPRA-Capital Chapter plans to ensure that its past president and current State President Rachel Smith, APR, CPRC, ends her busy year with much fanfare. It will host the President’s Welcome Reception/FPRE Foundation Event, the signature kick-off extravaganza for FPRA’s 77th Annual Conference, this summer in Orlando.
Reception attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones. The Joe Curley Rising Leader Class of 2015 will be recognized and this year’s award winner will be announced.
“PR Now: Stronger. Smarter. Faster” is this year’s conference theme. It’s set for Aug. 9-12 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, near Walt Disney World. Annual Conference is the largest meeting of public relations professionals in Florida, offering unparalleled opportunities for professional development, networking and fun.
Early bird conference registration is $725 for FPRA members and $905 for nonmembers. It includes all speaker sessions and most meals. Deadline for the discounted rate is July 13, 2015. FPRA’s special rate at the Omni of $129/night is also available three days before and after conference.
